It's not something you buy to use for years; It's something you buy for a while and then buy something really permanent. The plastic is hard and doesn't feel like premium quality, although it's not flimsy. However, it does exactly what you'd expect: it grips the phone so you can record videos. The remote control is a nice, comfortable touch, and it's easy to connect to your iPhone's BlueTooth. If you use it at home and aren't a heavy-duty vlogger, this works great.
