I have naturally curly hair and I sometimes straighten it. With a conventional hair dryer and brush, it takes about 2 hours. With this 2 in one it took about 45 minutes! The hair is soft, smooth and elastic. I am very happy with it. I deducted a star because the inner brushes already show signs of wear.
