I really like this juicer! I've had a centrifugal juicer in the past that worked fine but was so noisy it was ridiculous. ADVANTAGES: 1. Ceramic auger! It's so much better than plastic or metal, I think the juice tastes even better than my metal bladed centrifugal juicer I've had in the past. The juice just tastes so clean and sweet.2. SO CALM! I love this feature. I even drank the juice while my son was still asleep and he continued to sleep for 20 minutes! Much easier to clean than my centrifugal juicer! 4. It's smooth and well made, it's solid! 5. It's easy to use! I chop fruit/veg and my 6 year old son likes to put it in the juicer. Works well with green too! I have successfully cooked lettuce, cabbage and wheat germ. CONS: 1. Not the best option if you want to juice whole carrots or lots of carrots, it does the job well but gets a bit clogged with tons of carrots. If you prepare carrots with other things, then you will not have a problem, but if you plan to prepare a liter of carrot juice, then this is not the best option. The filter below was really clogged and I had to stop and disassemble it which made a mess. But I didn't have this problem with other fruits or vegetables. I also did a big juice fast for several days so I pushed this machine to the limit! I'm sure most people won't do that. It also seemed like the juicer whimpered when making a lot of carrots, it just made a louder noise even though it kept chugging. You really need to chop things a bit finer but I felt it shouldn't be a problem when it has so many great features like ease of use and cleaning, as well as being quiet and amazing juice quality :) I'd happily give it a 4 and a 1 /2 stars based on tons of carrots, but that's not an option. I can still recommend this juicer with a clear conscience! Surprising for most people who need juicing!
