There are many devices these days with bulky power adapters thinking that this is the only adapter you need. They occupy 2-3 slots depending on the shape. As a result, a typical 8-port power strip can only accommodate 2-3 of them. This product has two columns/rows. The picture shows that one of them is designed for those annoying bulky adapters. The other column/row is for good behavior power cords. So I replaced two of my splitters with this one. Two USB ports are convenient for tablets and devices such as Kindle, Nook, tablets. They're not "fast charge" types, so phones like the Samsung S8+ might not charge as fast. It's priced a bit higher than regular extension cords, but if this guy shows up on Today's Deals or the annual Black Friday sale, it's worth a look.
