A good choice for me because I have been convinced that reverse osmosis water is the best for 15 years. He removed everything from the water, leaving drinking water with little or no nutrients for the body, tasteless and useless. These systems even included a filter that added minerals back to the water. This is an impromptu attempt to replace the natural minerals in our bodies and I'm not sure any of the systems I've tried have actually worked for this. We're in Arizona and the summer heat calls for lots of water. Not just useless water, but because these units didn't really work as substitutes for these minerals, we had to keep adding supplements. Which brings me to the Frizzlite SP99 as a replacement for a reverse osmosis system. It was a big leap from unflavored water to Frizzlite-filtered water that tasted like tap water. In fact, these are carbon filters that filter silt, dirt and sand. When it comes to domestic water supply, you need to find out how much silt, sand and dirt is actually in our tap water, it should already be filtered at the factory. Other filters optimize filtration and remove some contaminants, but not all. So one has to ask how many contaminants really need to be removed to keep the water safe. The only other problem I had was removing the florid. To do this, I contacted their friendly and responsive customer support. Their response was that Florida is filtered down to 200 gallons. In our summer activities we have to change the filter(s) in about 3 months. However, I overlook this because the filters seem to return minerals to our bodies through the use of water, which helps the gut to heal various problems due to a lack of proper hydration and minerals. I think my system is on the mend now from getting this type of fluid. It is important. The taste doesn't make us sick like tap water, so the filters work. Conclusion: I think these are good filters. Customer service was very responsive, assembly was quick with good instructions, pictures and details and most importantly the water quality proved good for our health.
