I bought mine so that I can use it anywhere for writing and working. That means I've had to consider using cellular data or activating a hotspot from my phone, etc. Some tablets, which cost significantly more, include cellular and Wi-Fi coverage. It's not often you find this on a tablet in this price range, and they don't use it as a selling point, so I didn't know until I opened it up and was asked for a SIM card that it was an option. I'm always happy when I get extra extras on top of what I'm expecting and they arrive 3 days earlier than expected! Go ahead, GOWINTECH!
