Great value alternative to the original Yamaha filter

This is a decent filter for the price. The obvious trade-off for me is that this filter doesn't seem to last as long as the trademarked Yamaha filter. I'm sure it will do the job but I find the OE filter performs better. To be honest, for a few bucks more I think I'll go with the OE filter next time. But that's just me. If there was a savings of say 50% I would probably use this general purpose filter again.
