Great value for the quantity and quality of these stakes. Save tons vs buying the plastic irrigation stakes from big box home improvement stores. These work much better as well.These are about .75" wide as measured from the inside and about 3mm thick. The length is right around 6". I use it to hold down 1/2" and 1/4" drip irrigation tubing. Gently pry the ends to create a slight trapezoidal shape for a more secure grip before hammering into the soil. If you have very loose or soft soil, I would purchase 12" stakes, these will most likely be too short. The listing says these are galvanized which means they should resist rust a bit better. For ground cover sheeting, I would use a wider square top staple instead of this round top one.
