This is a sturdy, well-constructed little cash box. The bills are a nice (albeit slightly "snug") fit for American currency. The coin drawer portion is sized right. The extra space "behind" the bills easily holds several rolls of coins, plus our counterfeit detection pen and any checks that come in.Will it prevent theft? No - if someone wants your money, this box won't delay them too long. Either they'll pick it up and run or pry it open with a screwdriver (which, honestly, won't be that easy - it has a good, long locking catch).Will it keep your cash/checks organized? You bet.This is absolutely an "under the counter" or "in the office" type of box. It keeps money organized and easily accessible for you.
