I love boots! I wear a 7 1/2, ordered a size 8 to wear warm socks, they feel like a perfect 8. Lots of room for toes and feel good on my feet. The calf is large and was quite tight at first, which worried me that the zipper might tear. I added a zipper to make it easier to close. I wear them every day, no breaking in necessary. Great boots. To update. I've been wearing these boots every day for over a year now. The zipper holds perfectly. Walked through a lot of water, my friend was never cold or wet. I still love these boots!
