Well, of course I was skeptical about this order. Arrived quickly and without problems. There was nothing to do - they were already active and working. Humidity is indicated by large bold numbers and temperature by numbers approximately half the size. They are designed for panel mounting, fit into a rectangular hole, and have approximately 1/8 inch surface liner built into the device. one in each of my gun cabinets, one by the house thermostat, and one outside on the glass porch. Cost - so what! The batteries seem easy to replace but I haven't had to replace them since I received these papers a few months ago. I would buy them again for small gifts or when I need more.
