Review on BenQ ScreenBar Auto Dimming Adjustment ScreenBar_Black by Todd Vesci

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Fits perfectly on a LG 27MD5KB-B connected to my MacBook Pro. Light works perfectly!

My office has blackout blinds and the room has very low blue light to keep the mood cool. I encountered two issues that made me purchase this flashlight over everything else. My company is now using Zoom for meetings and encourages everyone to join the video. Because my room was dark and the overhead light gave off a faint blue light, no one could see me. Another issue is that I've started watching tutorial videos and want to take handwritten notes in a notebook. Doing this in the dark isn't very comfortable, and it's impossible to read my notes or even read a book. I need something. It was the first time I saw a review of a BenQ table lamp that people praised, but I didn't want the lamp to take up space on the table. Then I saw a link to this BenQ e-reading sitting on your monitor and decided to order it. I regret nothing. It's worth the price. I bought the version with a dial that allows you to turn the light on and off, adjust the brightness, adjust the temperature and turn on/off the auto setting where the light automatically sets the temperature based on the room. The censorship for this is on the dial. The light itself does what I want. It provides enough light for video calls on my Mac, reading books or taking notes. It can be rotated to ensure that the light does not shine onto the monitor screen or is reflected, but only radiates away from the monitor. The counterweight that the lightbar snaps into allows fine adjustment of its position on top of the monitor. By default when you mount it on an LG monitor it seems to barely cover the LG camera, but I was able to adjust it so it now sits over the camera and out of the way. I have a small unpowered Belkin USB-C hub plugged into one of the USB-C ports on the back of the LG. Blekin has two USB-C ports and two regular USB ports. BenQ connects to Belkin, which provides power. The entire case, including the dial, looks sleek and feels solid. It was a magical cure that solved my problem and I am very happy with it. I would recommend it over a table lamp. They get all the light you need without bouncing off your monitor screen and don't take up valuable desk space.
