Fantastic dog supplement that is so good for health! We've been using it for years and we love it!

We've been buying the same brand of organic seaweed for years, but we bought them in 8 ounce bags at the local pet store. Buying this big 5 pound bag is definitely the way to go for us! The hat is good for dogs for many reasons. We started buying it because of our dogs teeth. Mud Bay, the local pet store we bought it from, has it in the dental care section so we asked about it. They highly recommended it for keeping our dogs teeth clean as they have heard a lot about it. It also helps freshen their breath. It smells like fish, but her breath doesn't smell like fish after eating. They LOVE the taste! I sprinkle it over her food during breakfast, and since I add water, squash, and other things to her food, it really sticks. Some of the other benefits of eating seaweed for dogs are: 1. Seaweed is known to be high in iodine, and thyroid problems in humans and dogs are often linked to iodine deficiency. Iodine has been used to treat thyroid disease for a very long time. Because seaweed is so rich in iodine, it's the perfect supplement to help keep your furry friend's entire endocrine system (especially the thyroid, pituitary, and adrenal glands) in healthy condition. In turn, your dog will have an excellent metabolism and will find it easier to maintain a healthy weight. 2. Studies have shown that this helps to significantly reduce the number of fleas on a dog when infested. We use local flea products but love that the seaweed also helps keep fleas away. 3. Keop also supports many other bodily functions in your dog. It cleanses the digestive system and strengthens the blood (due to its high iron content), which helps the heart work more efficiently. 4. It's great to give to older dogs to boost their immune systems. and protects them from a variety of diseases. Amino acids help with tissue repair, which is why dogs that ingest kelp tend to recover faster. Seaweed can really help you and your dog live longer, so start feeding your dog this seaweed and find good seaweed for humans to take too! I've listed just a few of the benefits, but there are many more that I haven't even touched on. Just a really great dietary supplement that I highly recommend and I feel really good about our dogs! The list of ingredients is nice and short and includes one ingredient: dried organic seaweed. No additives at all. It is ecologically and sustainably harvested in the clean, uncontaminated remote corners of North Iceland. You can get an idea of what the seaweed looks like from my slightly blurry picture (sorry I tried) and the other picture is 6 of 7 of our dogs. who loves and gets all the benefits of this seaweed! Okay, and Kaya, I can't help but mention her <3 And the last photo shows seaweed sprinkled on two of her food bowls.
