I was skeptical about ordering cologne online, and with good reason; If you've never tried it, how do you know you'll like it? I was intrigued by some of the ads I saw online so I took a chance and bought them. Well, it looks like I burned myself. While I really like the idea of a solid cologne, its compactness and travel-ability, I just don't like the scent. I had never smelled Duke Cannon but trusted the reviews and ordered. So now I smell somewhere between a Yankee candle store and a Christmas store, with an old man's scent for good measure. Not very manly, but not exactly nasty compared to sweat, to be honest. Lastly, I didn't expect it to compete with some of the previous colognes I've worn, Lacoste or Armani Code, but I think it could be a touch. more male. It's less about whether I like the smell and more about whether she likes it.
