Will not work in my application

Dorman, like most aftermarket companies, attempts to make products for the widest possible application with one part number. However, they do not work on my 1984 Mustang GT 5.0L. although they are listed. I usually want to physically compare the original to the replacement, but that's not possible with this online store. Well, I'll use them for everything.
