Best for Beginners Chinese/Japanese Characters

I'm just learning to write Chinese/Japanese Characters/Calligraphy and have been told that a Fude brush/pen would be more convenient than traditional brush/ink (or even water brush) with special water pad). After reading reviews of Fude/brush pens, it became clear that different pens were designed for different uses. For example, a brush that is great for drawing manga may not be the best for Chinese/Japanese characters. And what was good for European calligraphy is usually not ideal for shading. Etc. So figure out what you want to do with a brush pen and do your research before you buy it! Also, some brush pens use brushes (natural or synthetic bristles) as the tip, while others, like this one, use a felt tip. found this website very helpful to understand which pens are good for what: A good pen for writing Chinese/Japanese characters for beginners as it is easy to use. However, as the actual change in line thickness from heavy to light pressure is limited, this is NOT suitable for advanced artistic calligraphy and/or more advanced Chinese/Japanese calligraphy artists. A NOTICE. Another reviewer pointed out that hers didn't leave clear lines. Maybe the one she got was a bit dry. The lines I left were fairly clean, dark, and hard. But then again, this pen is probably best for Chinese/Japanese characters, not European calligraphy or manga drawing. For Chinese/Japanese characters, skipping and hatching are considered part of the art. For example, done right, it adds beauty to the character.

Cons
