Review on Alexa-compatible TP Link Smart Wi-Fi Plug by Tyler Born

I already own five of these forks and while they haven't revolutionized my life they do what I expect them to and are easy to use. And once I had an app, I always got the same brand, so I only had to deal with one app. Changing a plugin's name is fairly easy, and Alexa adapts quickly. I move them around a lot as I don't have many socket based lights/lamps. I think the only downside is that if you're using it for something like a lamp, you really have to stick with voice/app control, as flipping the switch turns it off entirely - and you'll forget about it later and to be angry. Trust me, your partner probably doesn't want to hear you frantically whisper "Alexa, turn off the bedside lamp" while she's trying to sleep. I think smarter isn't always better.
