These rods are incredibly strong and long enough for most repairs. The handles are also solid and in a solid tee. The tips have plastic screws, plastic tips are required but not the screw that attaches them to the shaft. Tips are usually shortened. However, for the price, it's definitely worth it. A quick fix for the attachments I've found is to buy a separate kit of attachments that have metal screws instead of plastic latches. Between the cost of two items - still a great price.
