The item fitted well, the brass nipple was pointing the wrong way about 45 degrees.
The pre-installed brass nipple came the wrong way on my 1996 Mercury 90 HP. do not unscrew) to work with my motor and tightened the clamp very tight to fit. Fix my hard start now. The purchase is worthwhile.
