Very difficult. seems to help.

First - the cushion is VERY hard. It comes with a soft layer that helps. I took out one of the inner layers to make it thinner. Basically, I like the idea. I think this is a good alternative to the more expensive cube shaped pillows. If it was a little softer, my neck would move, so hardness is required. Even if it takes some getting used to.
