As a regular hiker, I was disappointed by this beanie. Although it felt warm and cozy, it failed to serve its purpose of keeping the wind out. As a result of using this product, I found that my ears were still exposed and cold despite the beanie being pulled down over them. Additionally, the material did not hold up well after a few washes. The only pro was the stylish design. However, that does not justify the price for an ineffective outdoor beanie. Stick to brands with a proven track record for sports and outdoors.
