Those plastic pole covers didn't do the job. I carefully measured the rod diameter as suggested in the reviews. The caps came up to the bars when they arrived, but they only settled about 1/2 inch on the bar due to a protrusion in the cap. When the tension of the trampoline tugged at them, they immediately retreated. I tried the air duct - they taped it to the bars and it lasted about two weeks. They began to dry, crack, splinter. In less than two months, they were all in a landfill somewhere.
