I needed replacement containers for a set I bought last year. However, it was expensive to buy one or more containers at a time. This set is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa cheaper. So now I have extra bins that I don't need. The reason I needed a replacement is because I removed some of the containers when they got damaged from the microwave. They're great and I always have a few in the freezer. They keep well in the freezer. A year later I still have most of the set left. I find cup size 1.25 to be the most common. However, there are no sizes that are not commonly used. I use .5 cup containers for salad dressings, 1.25 cup containers, and 2 cup freezers for dinner. The 7-cup container is great for making pasta salads. When I bought this set, I threw away all those mismatched margarine, whipped cream filling, and other containers. Now my closet is neat and tidy.
