I am required to check my temperature before I go to work. Using the Proven digital thermometer is my go to resource. The digital display is large and easy to read. My normal temperature is lower than average and upon first use I believe it accurately measured my temperature. I was also impressed with how quickly the ‘ready’ beep sounded. My temperature was displayed In less than 20 seconds which makes it a quick addition to my morning routine. It comes with a hard plastic storage case to keep it sanitary and easy to store. The absolute best feature is the stem part, that is placed in the mouth, is a bendable rubber rather than hard plastic. Much more comfortable! The price point is affordable for any budget. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is the on/off button is flush with the handle making it hard to push. It takes a bit of practice to get it the first try. Secondly, in order to replace the battery you have to have a tiny screw driver which not every household has. I’ve no idea how long the battery lasts, but we all know batteries don’t last forever. As far as performance though, you won’t be disappointed if you add the Proven thermometer to your medicine cabinet because it’s accurate, fast and easy to use.
