This product is a great thermometer for everyday use. It is simple to use straight out of the box and provides additional features which make it ideal for family use. My 3 month old twins can be squirmy when attempting to take a temperature, but this thermometer has a flexible probe which moved with my baby allowing me make fewer attempts to get a temperature taken. OMG, this thing is like crazy amazing. It has a button so you can turn it on. Then you stick it where you want (I did under the tongue) and after a while it beeps! Holey moley -- When you look at it shows your body temperature.Simply incredible!

I bought this thermometer because my 3-year-old hated my old rigid-tipped thermometer. I used this on myself first, and it's very comfortable in the mouth. I am not giving a 5 star review only because it's *very* loud and there does not appear to be a way to shut off or lower the sound. I received my iProven Dt-R1221AWG Medical Thermometer, not trusting my infrared in-ear thermometer. Easy to use, digits are approx 1/2 inch and readable. Several reviewers report that there is no beep. When I hold the thermometer a few millimeters from my ear and press the "on" button, a very brief and very, very quiet beep occurs. I finally purchased this digital thermometer due to the Coronavirus pandemic to replace my ancient (but still useable) mercury thermometer. This is wicked easy to use, easy on the mouth. The part that goes under the tongue is pleasantly soft feeling, not at all hard to use, plus it is superbly accurate. It is an accurate oral/rectal thermometer, period. I found it difficult to hear the beeps. One small problem is that sometimes it's necessary to hold the thermometer flat on a surface in order to sufficiently depress the on/off button which activates/deactivates the item. It gives you an accurate temperature reading pretty quickly.

This is just one of the items I put into a "Dog” first aid kit for my granddaughter’s pooch. It will come in handy if she ever needs it.

This thermometer is not fast. It says it's a 10 second thermometer but it really takes about 30-60 seconds. What I wanted was a thermometer that was very fast for use 10-15 times a day.

It’s also made very well and I like that it comes in a clear case. This thermometer also has a different beeps.
