Does the job-one small problem.

It is an accurate oral/rectal thermometer, period. I found it difficult to hear the beeps. One small problem is that sometimes it's necessary to hold the thermometer flat on a surface in order to sufficiently depress the on/off button which activates/deactivates the item. It gives you an accurate temperature reading pretty quickly.

Pros

Multi-purpose: The thermometer can also be used to measure the temperature of objects, liquids, and surfaces

Cons

The thermometer can be difficult to use for people with vision impairments

I’ve used it a couple of times, and it always give good reads when compared with the typical thermometer with mercury which makes it very accurate.
