This product is a great thermometer for everyday use. It is simple to use straight out of the box and provides additional features which make it ideal for family use. My 3 month old twins can be squirmy when attempting to take a temperature, but this thermometer has a flexible probe which moved with my baby allowing me make fewer attempts to get a temperature taken. This thermometer is also great due to the speed in which it returns an accurate result, taking me about 10 seconds to get a reading. It also provided an easy to understand indicator to show whether the temperature indicated is normal, high, or borderline and when paired with the alarm to indicate the result is ready, makes reading at a glance simple . The thermometer also provides the ability to switch seamlessly between F and C to allow for more global use.
