Sorry but this toaster is bullshit in my opinion. It seemed to toast appropriately upon unboxing and first use. As you would expect, it was the average color of the toasts. However, on the second day of my morning toast and coffee, the right side lever refused to stay locked to start the toasting cycle. I push down and it doesn't stay down but bounces back up. I am bitterly disappointed with the technique made today. They are simply NOT built for long-term use. No quality control, no performance standards. I bought home appliances from the famous LOTS store that sells kitchen appliances that last longer. The ONLY good thing about this purchase is that it broke after the very first use so I was able to return it. Because we know what it's like, they all go to small appliance heaven right after the return deadline! This toaster is a bad buy for me. Send back. Zero stars if that were possible.
