Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Jagwire M5 Cable Adjuster Barrel by Gerald Reeves

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Jagwire Quality for Bike Frames

If you do manage to wear out the adjustment bushings on your bike they make a great replacement. Jagwire makes great cables, housings, and associated bits and grommets like this one. While I could apparently go anywhere on Revain with a wonky-sounding brand, I trust Jagwire to make decent parts. This isn't a critical part, of course, but the small difference in price was well worth it. To install them, you must remove your current cables. The piece of metal sticking out of the threaded part is there to prevent the spring from coming loose from the part, so remove it after screwing it into the downtube body (or elsewhere). Tighten it fully to ensure you have enough slack to adjust if the cables stretch. The easy part, but they do the job well and 10 probably gives me enough for the rest of my life.
