5 star rating for two main reasons: 1) 25 ft. range 2) Value for moneyNot perfect. But it's worth the very small issues I had with my brief tests. I bought this remote control in a set of two for 9€. I wasn't sure whether to buy the $9 Revain Basic or the $25 Nikon OEM. I mostly read 4 star reviews with others. Range was an issue. I think the OEM Remote Rage spec is around 15ft. This remote worked for me within 25 feet of the camera with no issues. I haven't checked again. The only minor issue I had was that the battery was not making consistent contact with the terminals inside the case and therefore would not fire. I noticed that when I firmly pressed the button on the remote it worked, but when I pressed it lightly it didn't work. I raised each connector to allow the battery to make better contact with the connectors inside and that helped. $4.50 each. I now have a primary and a backup wireless remote. Pretty good value for a remote that almost doubles the OEM's range specs in my testing. I used this Neewer wireless remote control on a Nikon D7500.
