My 8 year old daughter wears a size 10 for girls so I ordered a size 10/11 for her in this top. It's a little big, but it can be carried. It's soft and stretchy and she says it's comfortable. She loves the color blocking and the sequin bag. I washed it on gentle cycle and hung it to dry and it was fine. Our only issue is that the color description says 'pink', but this top is actually dark orange.
