Review on Apple MagSafe 2 Converter by Takeshi Krzywicki

If you enlarge the photo you can see that the 2 top nodes on the adapter have melted and the 2 top contacts on the L-shaped connector are also damaged. This happened after about a month of regular use. The charger is the original L-tip charger that came with my old MacBook Pro, not a cheap third-party charger. I should have known that something so simple, convenient and cheap could not be counted on. However, I'll give it the benefit of the doubt and buy another. Maybe I didn't put it in correctly, or something interfered with the cable, partially dislodging one end and creating an arc. Next time I'll be very careful.
