Compact little visibility lamp, very useful when you're running at night and want drivers to know you're around. Outperforms a basic safety vest, especially with a flashing pattern. Not so useful at dusk though - the light just isn't bright enough to draw much attention when the ambient light is still bright. It's not a big problem, but don't expect it to do anything too significant. The UI is pretty good - a long press ensures it almost never activates accidentally, it's easy to switch between modes, and the light remembers the last mode you were in. Flashing patterns are varied and are intended to attract the driver's attention. The clip is ideal for discreet attachment to a belt, bracelet or backpack strap. I would recommend it to night runners when complemented with a reflective vest and reflective wrist and ankle straps. I use it as a backpack light when hiking as the backpack hides my safety vest. With a lithium battery and long lifespan, this flashlight is the perfect backpack for when you're out at night.
