Update: After 8 months the power button no longer works. I have to fold the paper under one edge to make it spin and stay on and then the timer doesn't work because of the paper. There's a lot less freehand work. Shame as it was the perfect size for everything I needed and the perfect bacon maker! Never force the grill to work properly. It's a bit small to be an efficient grill. My only real complaint is that the instructions show an interior light toggle button, but there isn't one. The light is on while cooking. I would have liked to be able to turn on the light to set up the grill and clean it, but my flashlight worked just fine. Not suitable for Costco sized rotisserie chickens. Will try again later with a smaller size. Air frying makes the food taste much better than it did in our previous toaster or large oven. All the grates, pans and drip trays are easily removed for cleaning, and even the door is easy to clean, although a few more items will need to be cooked before spills are cleaned up. It's perfect for making bacon! The basket is the right length and the drip tray holds all the grease and can be easily poured into a jar for chilling or disposal and then cleaned immediately.
