Bought this for an 8 year old who is thin but tall. After the first wash he sat a little on his hands and got smaller. So I ordered a size 10-12, it was a little big. But after the first wash it fit perfectly. I ended up leaving a size 8 for another son, didn't return. color does not fade. Even after wearing it for a long time in winter, it's still great. So I recommend going up a size when your kids grow up. The material is soft to the touch. Very convenient. My son loves wearing this hooded jacket.
