Combining OCD and pride in a clean home, I am obsessed with cleanliness. I love cleaning my house. I have tried and owned many different vacuums over the years: Dirt Devil, Hoover, Bissell and even Dyson. Most of these vacuum cleaners worked well. But today I found the most perfect vacuum cleaner. JE! The Shark Rotator Lift-Away Duo Cleaning Pro promises a lot with its self-cleaning roller. And it delivers to EVERYONE. SINGLE. PROMISE! 1. This vacuum IS a strong vacuum as he claims. In fact, you can change the power setting to full or less with the flick of a lever! The vacuum is an upright vacuum BUT it is also detachable so you can remove the nozzle and bin and easily vacuum problem areas like steps, furniture, under furniture or even pick up dust that has collected on the top of the vacuum eaves. or door frame. The overall performance level is pretty amazing. You will see and hear him devour everything in his path. The dual brush system is like nothing I've ever seen or used before. My previous vacuum had a pet hair brush and it worked well. But what he didn't do was get rid of the fur/hair that was wrapped around the brush. So every couple of weeks I had to turn the vacuum over, remove the base plate to get to the roller and use a knife or scissors to trim the tangled hair/hair that had wrapped around the brush. (For some reason I often ripped/cut off a lot of the floss that was also wrapped around the brush!) There is NO hair wrap with the Shark Rotator Lift-Away! Fur/hair and even dental floss will NOT wrap around the brush, they will remove themselves! BTW, I purposely put a long piece of dental floss on the floor to test it and it immediately sucked in and WILL NOT wrap itself around the brushroll! NONE of the furs/hair I vacuumed was harmed! No more removing the base plate and cutting off pieces of tangled objects around the brush, this vacuum removes these objects CAM!3. The vacuum cleaner has rotary steering that allows the vacuum cleaner to maneuver around objects and move in all directions. The lift function is fantastic. Simply remove the canister and nozzle from the vacuum cleaner and start cleaning furniture and stairs. You can also use the extension nozzle to clean hard-to-reach places.4. The HEPA filter keeps dust, dirt and allergens in the bin where they belong, not on the floor or carpet. The vacuum has one setting (just a push of a button!) for vacuuming carpets or hard floors. The vacuum cleaner is packed in several parts, but it takes less than 5 minutes to assemble. (I hate the cliche, but if I can assemble it myself, ANYONE can!) No tools required to assemble the vacuum cleaner! As soon as I picked it up I left. I vacuumed my house last night with my vacuum, which has been my regular vacuum until now. I've always found this vacuum cleaner to do such a good job. Today I found out how "well" it really works. (Although I can honestly say that if I didn't have pets I would STILL use this vacuum!) I really wish I could give this vacuum more than 5 stars! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
