The downside is that the shape they sent for the light doesn't fit, the holes cut don't fit at all.

I use this on my Canon R6 and the light works great. What I didn't like was that the shape they sent didn't match my shape cutout side light panel. The only thing that fits is the 1/4" mounting hole.
