We've received several compliments on this bag. I am a woman and I bought this bag because I really like the look. It's not particularly feminine. It's durable and looks retro. It holds quite a bit but I have a very small laptop and then books etc. I use it instead of my bag and purse, it's my all in one. The only thing I didn't think of when looking at this bag is the way it closes, it has straps that deploy and secure with a clasp. You can only carry it if you zip it up as the carry handle is the top part where the straps should be. You can carry it with the shoulder strap, but the items in the bag are not protected as well. This is a great messenger bag. Canvas in leather and waxed art.
