I expected everything to be hard plastic and the product to be bulkier, heavier and more durable. But the box is thin plastic and they are very light. Assembly was easy, they can be stacked but you can't just open the doors and grab your shoes. You definitely need to be careful how you take off your shoes. I think if you had in all your shoes and they were folded it might be a little stronger and easier to put on and take off the shoes. I'm keeping my lesser worn pairs of shoes here for now because it probably annoys me having to bring my daily drivers here all the time. I can fix them to the floor or wall with tape or screws to make them more durable. Now they live under my bed and look good. Happy with the purchase but not satisfied.
