It's possible these batteries are just crap, so who can say for sure. I put them in all night after charging and the battery level only shows 1 bar. Every day he showed me the same weight. Then one day he will show a drop of 0.6 pounds. I pursued. Changes typically occur in 0.6 pound increments. I stood on it and took a reading, then took the batteries out and put them back in and got another reading. I've read that cheap scales don't take new readings every time. They rely on what's in memory, and if there's no significant change, they just show you what's in memory. This is currently unavailable. No surprises.
