Back at work after Covid I needed an all in one bag to fit a couple of water bottles, lunch and other essentials. I spent several hours comparing this backpack to the smaller version and another brand. Although it's a bit bigger than I need, I chose this one because it had pockets on the outside front (there's a hidden zipper in the top one!), zippers on both sides and going down the middle, and the computer sleeve is separate (with 3 patch pockets, one for computer, one ideal for iPad or Kindle and one for papers/notebooks). This backpack has everything that is described and even a little bit more! My 32 ounce water bottle fits, has enough room for lunch and any other small items I need to take to work, and is lightweight. The only thing I would add is a mesh pocket inside an insulated cutlery pouch or ice pack. The bag actually measures 12.6(L) x 9.4(W) x 15.8(H) inches.
