Since my dog is already an elderly person (Bichon 18" back length, weight 22lbs, lots of lint) we didn't want anything stiff and clumsy or risky using a seat that doesn't fit him. This seat was great and perfect for us we've had a few hard stops and the seat did its job make sure you have enough seat belts to buckle them in. this seat is great for everyday stuff like that Driving to the shops or to the park I would have preferred a more child seat style such as hard plump if you intend to travel long distances or on the highway This seat is simply clip on straps on the back of the seat It however is great for most everyday stuff especially if you don't like having a lot of stuff in the car.It's also very cute and they verse it insanely fast chickens Very grateful! A decent price if you just want to fit something simple into your car.
