These gliders are exactly the same ones I bought as a child over 50 years ago. Assembly can be a little tricky for young children as the cork pieces need to be gently pushed out so they don't split and the wings inserted so you don't tear or break them. After assembling, the planes will work normally. I could best take care of my 5 and 7 year old granddaughters so I could calm them down and not recklessly rush into their excitement and planes crash or they play tug of war who comes next. can also help them adjust the position of their wings so they can glide in circles, loop, or fly long and straight. Great learning fun for young and old and not very expensive! (as if a big box was a better toy than the present inside)! Laugh!
