Not the best choice!

Airplanes flew the worst! They rarely flew beyond 10-12 feet. The tail wings were loose, adjusting the main wind forward or backward made a difference, but the plane's flight was very short.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • I don't remember, but something happened

Similar to the ones I had as a kid.

The design is very similar to the ones I had as a kid, but they are only printed in red on the wings, tail and canopy, and then only on one side. That being said, my grandson will love it because he doesn't know (or care) the difference.

Pros
  • nice item
Cons
  • damaged

Definitely recommend!

This is some old school fun for kids to get them outside! The durability depends on how intensively your child plays. The price is very reasonable, but I recommend you buy multiple packs because adults want to have fun too!

Pros
  • Sturdy design
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Like in the old days!

Bought for my grandson. Balsa gliders, just like the ones I threw away 55 years ago - same 'jet' design. Very funny. We bought two - the first survived the weekend, the second will be treated more gently - children should be introduced to the term "fragile but fun". Balsa is fragile. 😎👍

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Bad quality control?

The little balsa glider was exactly what I expected as I remember them years ago when my kids were little. However, I was surprised that the instructions list a small piece of balsa wood for the "cockpit" and that there is a slot in the fuselage to insert it, but there is no part in the kit. I don't know if that's an omission of a detail (none of the four models) or a guide that hasn't changed in years.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Secret

Like in childhood!

These gliders are exactly the same ones I bought as a child over 50 years ago. Assembly can be a little tricky for young children as the cork pieces need to be gently pushed out so they don't split and the wings inserted so you don't tear or break them. After assembling, the planes will work normally. I could best take care of my 5 and 7 year old granddaughters so I could calm them down and not recklessly rush into their excitement and planes crash or they play tug of war who comes next. can…

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
