I have been using the Jeanie Rub massager for 24 years and it has worked flawlessly the entire time. My mother wore it for 23 years and eventually it broke. I think mine is about to fail so I bought a new one because I love it and don't want to live without it. The new one has variable speed and more power options. The new one is quieter too. I have foot problems and can barely walk and the only shoes I can wear are my crocs and this massager has improved my feet beautifully. Before using it on my legs I started to worry that I wouldn't be able to work anymore but it made the burning pain go away. I also have carpal tunnel syndrome and this works great for flare-ups if I use it multiple times a day and/or many days in a row. I find that the best benefits come from using it in bed just before bedtime, allowing it to increase blood flow to the problem area and then promote faster healing. I use it on the same problem area until the pain stops and it goes numb and then I really feel the blood rushing to that area. I now use this massager on any area that is sore or inflamed and when I fell and injured my kneecap I immediately rubbed it over my knee and no longer had the aches or pains I have had from a similar injury in the past . Also, I had bursitis in my shoulder and it helped with that and my hip when I pulled my hip out of my hip joint. It works for everything! I firmly believe in the amazing power of massage and it helps you look young! This branded massager is based on the previous ones we had and it's a great product! Yes when you first use it there will be a smell of oil or grease being used on its internal parts but it will go away and what do you expect from something built to last, it had to be made that way! Also, when using the massager, the hands get slightly numb at first, but this disappears after a few uses of the massager. Hands become immune to tingling and numbness. The itching also subsides, your skin is just not used to it due to the increased blood flow. Also, when my son came to me and said that there was something wrong with his hand and that it was numb and tingly for a few weeks, I said "let me massage your hand several times a day and see what happens". The problem was gone in 2 days! He was very worried and afraid of what might happen and he would need a doctor's visit, but Jeanie Rub is in a hurry to help! This is a well made, sturdy and incredibly useful product and I LOVE IT! No one should be without it and don't be a whiner and say you can't use it on yourself, I can reach almost every part of my back with it if I lay it directly on the bed and use a pillow to snuggle it up keep it slipping off the bed! Use it often and liberally on any aching body part and it will be the best thing you can do for your body and circulatory system!
