These pen holders are ideal for anyone who uses crayons and doesn't want to throw away uncomfortably short pens, even those sharpened to a small protrusion. They work great with Prismacolor, Spectrum Noir, Derwent and Crayola crayons - simply twist the mechanism on the bottom to tighten as needed. My only minor complaint is that they're a bit wider and harder to hold once loaded into the holder, but that's still preferable than losing the last of those colors. It's nice to have a set of six holders to keep handy and load to the end. Hope this helps anyone who might be on the fence.
