It's just good old mechanical electronic technology, not the Internet of Things. It doesn't display LED lights, receive voice commands, or sync with an app that turns on/off the sunrise/sunset time in your city. It's just a plug adapter breaker switch with a pin ring that controls the clock you want to turn on and off every day. Pretty inventive, by the way! I love that it's a dual socket that controls two inputs but leaves the other plug of your outlet available, with an hourly/daily timer adjustable in 15-minute increments, and a permanent-on slide switch. This is perfect for our small stairwell Christmas tree with an extension for the pre-lit garland on our entryway banister. The downside can be a rough estimate if you set the current time slice, but you can get close enough (e.g. but can be annoying in BR (along with a ticking clock). We run them around Christmas every year (e.g .Early December through St. Patrick's Day in March, sometimes Easter in April because it's winter in New England, #hygge) and use one in the LR apartment all year round to keep the light coming home.k.Comfortable!
