Review on iMethod Eyebrow Stamp Kit with Stencil - Brow Stamp Refill Pomade, Black Brown by Gregory Abercrombie

My eyebrows are very pale blonde so they’re almost invisible, which makes them difficult to shape. I stopped having my eyebrows dyed at the beginning of the Covid pandemic two years ago. I selected this product because I was hoping for an easy way to use a stencil and apply a stamp to my eyebrows so that the area inside the stencil would be very dark and then, I could shape my eyebrows. Unfortunately, I did not realize this is not the product that arrives with stencils. So after it got to my house, I had to order eyebrow stencils and wait for them to arrive. The stamp is dark brown and it did work very well to outline a shape for my eyebrows using the stencils that I purchased. However, despite stamping against and with the grain of my eyebrow hair on the first application, the color appears a little patchy. I ended up reapplying the stamp to the very ends of my eyebrows to define the shape more clearly. I’m much happier with the result after I apply the stamp twice, though it’s a little dark to be an every day make up look for me. It is a little bit inconvenient that I have to clean the stencil off between applying the make up to each eyebrow. I did use my own, recently acquired, eyebrow brush to even out the stamp though it’s still a little patchy. I included a photo with this review. I am not a makeup artist and I’m out of practice, but I did use the product as intended to produce the look in the picture. I may be able to improve the final look with practice, but the product suffices for the need that I selected it for, which is to offer a way to shape my brows. I included a picture of the stencils, brow tool, and the eyeshadow that I used to create the look in the photo.I awarded four stars because the product is fairly user-friendly, there is a reasonable color pay off, it did not smudge, and it stayed on until I took it off with make up remover.I did not award a fifth star because a thorough application of the product is a little patchy and I need to use two applications to achieve a uniform color.My brows are really difficult to see so any lack of color uniformity really shows up on me, but people that have darker eyebrow hair will probably have less difficulty with a uniform application. Still, it is much easier to create a final makeup look with nice brows using the stamp, so I feel comfortable recommending the product. That stated, if you are new to eyebrow stamping like I was, you may need to make sure that you order an entire kit instead of just the replacement stamp offered here.
