VERY easily overheats

I remember watching videos when they first came out; Landscapes, nature, other countries, riding in the canyon. And I can't help but wonder how the hell they managed to keep filming with this thing when it's overheating so insanely fast. I have it in my car as a car camcorder (yes I know I can clearly see how that was a mistake). It's 32 degrees F outside, I set the AC on a low heat aimed at the ground (the camera sits on a clip just above the vents, so when I turn the heat on, overheats even faster) and after 30-40 minutes off recording it screams "Gear 360 overheated, turn off power recovery!" and turns off. Hooray! Thanks very much! It's not so bad that when I pass her on the freeway and she's in 4k and she still can't get a clear enough video I can't see 95% of the license plates she photographs in broad daylight. It's a really good camera if it's always 40 degrees Fahrenheit where you live and you don't plan on using it for long periods, maybe an hour at most. I tried shooting with it in 90 degrees Fahrenheit last summer, but it didn't get there after 2 hours of turning it on and off, then wouldn't turn it on for just a few seconds because it was too hot. And those were just photos not even videos. If you don't plan to use it outdoors like 95% of commercials, then everything is fine πŸ‘ when I pass them on the Autobahn and it's 4k resolution. and it still can't make clear enough video. It's a really good camera if it's always 40 degrees F outside and you don't plan on using it for more than an hour max. I tried shooting with it last summer in the 90 degree F heat and it didn't have it, it turned off after 2 hours of use on and off then wouldn't turn back on for more than a few seconds because it was too hot.
