Review on πŸ”Š Edifier R2000DB Studio Monitors: Powered Bluetooth Bookshelf Speakers with Optical Input, 120 Watts RMS - Black by Akio Yamato ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best thing for the money, Im glad I chose this option.

You can argue a lot about the sound quality, everyone likes their own. These speakers have a fairly good sound in all frequency ranges; when separated by a couple of meters, they create a detailed soundstage with a natural sound. We can say the optimal price / sound ratio. Maybe symphonic music is not the "horse" of these speakers, but in this price range no one can reproduce it more or less normally. In my opinion, they generally have no competitors in this price category (I can compare with similar Sven and Microlab). Compared to a "normal" stereo system (stereo amplifier + speakers), you will have to increase your budget significantly to feel the difference. A system up to 30 thousand is unlikely to play an order of magnitude better. And at high costs, you get a "slightly" different segment and, of course, a qualitatively different sound. But for sounding a small room (movies + most of the popular music), IMHO, these speakers are enough. Another small note. When playing via bluetooth, the sound really changes not for the better. It's better, if possible, to use cables. On the other hand, it's not always convenient, and in a standard living room, the difference in sound is not fatal.

Pros
  • 1) sound 2)bluetooth 3) appearance 4) build quality
Cons
  • for this money no
